3 Moon 18 On that day, the “March 8” Women’s Day event— a one-day tour to Yangdun Leisure Farm—organized by the trade union committee of Nuobang Shares was held as scheduled, despite the light drizzle. With the exception of female colleagues from Bangyi Company who were occupied with urgent production tasks, female employees from all other centers and some family members participated in this welfare activity for women.

In the morning 9 At that time, led by union chairwoman Xu Shengmei, the large group set off from the company in a bus bound for Yangdun Leisure Farm. The farm is an eco-agricultural rural tourism destination that integrates multiple functions, including fruit and fish farming, agricultural production, and ecotourism. Due to the rain, many outdoor activities had to be canceled, but everyone remained enthusiastically engaged and thoroughly enjoyed themselves.

After arriving at the farm, we first headed straight to the strawberry garden to pick some fresh strawberries. The walk from the farm entrance to the strawberry garden was quite a distance—just enough to let us burn off some energy and indulge in a delightful strawberry feast. Finally, after winding through countless twists and turns, we reached the strawberry garden. Each of us, armed with a small basket, plunged into the greenhouse. We started by picking two perfectly ripe, vividly red strawberries to savor their sweet taste. As we walked along, picking berries one by one, before we even made it to the end of the garden, our stomachs were already full and our baskets were brimming with juicy strawberries.

The Chinese meal is a farm-style buffet barbecue—what they call “self-reliance and abundance through one’s own efforts.” The real fun of barbecuing isn’t in how delicious the finished dishes turn out; rather, it lies in the process itself: brushing on oil, adding seasonings, exchanging playful banter and jokes, sampling raw food and teasing each other before continuing to cook, and then shouting out to everyone to share the mouthwatering results. Although the weather didn't cooperate and our afternoon itinerary ended early, the activity gave us the chance to discover the vibrant essence of spring amid a garden bursting with colorful flowers, breathe in the fresh air on the lush green lawns, and savor the beautiful spring scenery by the small bridges and flowing waters.

To our female colleagues at Nuobang: At your workplaces, you are hardworking and dedicated employees; within your families, you are quietly devoted companions. The greatness of women doesn't lie in giving everything wholeheartedly—but rather in wanting to give even more after having already given your all. May women treat themselves kindly and, in their best possible state, continue to shoulder half the sky with grace and strength.
