From the origins of grains to the delectable dishes that grace our tables today, from ancient cooking utensils to cutting-edge, high-tech kitchen appliances—every exhibit was truly awe-inspiring. We gained a profound appreciation for the historical transformations and cultural heritage embodied in food, discovering the past and present of culinary arts, broadening our understanding of culinary artistry, and deepening our knowledge of Boss’s storied history and culture.

Flowers Bloom at Your Fingertips: Skillfully Crafting National-Color Peony Flaky Pastries

The on-site event was a fun and creative hands-on baking workshop—“National Beauty and Splendor”: making the internet-famous imperial-style flaky pastries (peony-flower pastries). In the baking classroom, under the expert guidance and instruction of our professional instructor, the ladies were brimming with enthusiasm and couldn't wait to get started. From precise weighing and blending to shaping and demolding, every step was carried out with meticulous care. The sweet filling was delicately encased in a golden “outer layer,” which, as it passed through the molds, transformed into peonies of various colors. Under high-temperature baking, the enticing aroma filled the entire event venue!

Ding~~~ With a crisp sound, the peony-flavored pastry is ready! Everyone quickly raises their phones to snap photos of their hard work—feelings of accomplishment and pride reach their peak in this moment.
